At random, I tried this from the "Curator's Choice" on the homepage. It works both ways.

I don't typically use other browsers, but that one works both ways in Chrome (Version 31.0.1650.63 m - it says it's up to date) too.

My video does not play in Chrome using Flash, but when I use html5 the audio plays, but the video is black.

thanks. i'll do my best to sort this out. i'm wondering if there is some encoding issues with yours assuming you do some processing. what format to you output from the camera, what are you using to edit (assuming you are), what are the specs that you output from your editing software.

So far we're use Avid Liquid for editing. I'll have my guy get you the other info. I only deal with it on the back end after it's uploaded here.

I appreciate you trying to help sort this out! Thanks.

I've emailed my guy. He works a real job and is a volunteer for us. I asked him to respond here as soon as he gets a chance.

we should have no trouble making a playable .ogv and .mp4 *from* that Liquid output MPEG-4

however, if you are trying to insert that video as a source into a browser, it definitely won't play :-)

No, I'm not able to play the videos in my browser from your website after they've been uploaded, derived, etc. using the video player on your page.
